Many times, you're just too busy to mess with coming to my office. Surprising to most people, with today's technology we're able to do many things remotely. However there are times when it's just not feasible to accomplish something remotely, therefore I offer both on-site and remote services.
On-Site: For on-site services, I would come to your home or office. Although my fees are higher for on-site than remote, sometimes the situation warrants it or just simply the client (you) prefer it.
Remote: Most of my remote clients didn't realize how easy it is to get support and updates remotely. Today there are several very solid and safe approaches to this.
One option is I keep your books on my computer. I do periodic updates and then send you reports and backups as requested. You do not need to own QuickBooks with this option.
Another option is for you to keep your data files and I tap into your computer remotely. I use one of several different programs for this. They are fast, reliable, and safe.
The third option is for you to send me your QuickBooks files. I restore your file on my QuickBooks, make whatever changes need to be done, and then send you the file back.
I use 1 of these 3 options with all of my remote clients. Situation and client preference dictates which is best. A periodic on-site visit may be necessary, but again, situation's dictate.
The advantages to remote services are quick response times, less intrusion on your time, and lower rates for my fees!
